Sin City Waves Radio fully replaces Pirate Radio in Fallout 76 with a New Vegas–style station, featuring classic tracks, 5.5 hours of content, and a charismatic, talkative host bringing the wasteland to life.
DESCRIPTION
Sin City Waves Radio is a mod that fully replaces the Pirate Radio station in Fallout 76 with a brand-new lore-friendly radio broadcast coming straight from New Vegas.
This station has its own charismatic, sharp-tongued, and slightly ruthless radio host named Johnny. He has a captivating voice, loves “talking too much”, and doesn’t shy away from dark humor or hard truths of the wasteland.
The mod includes almost the entire Fallout: New Vegas original soundtrack, along with several carefully selected additional tracks that fit the same style and era. Nearly every song is introduced by Johnny The Ghoul, and between tracks he shares stories, reflections, announcements, and strange tales from the wasteland.
In total, the mod adds around 5.5 hours of new audio content.
Please note:
If you hear repeated songs, stories, or ads — this is not a bug of the mod, but a limitation of Fallout 76 itself. The game tends to repeat radio content quite often, especially during long play sessions.
Johnny talks a lot, and that may not be for everyone. However, due to the fixed structure and length of the original Pirate Radio files, many silent gaps had to be filled. Adding even more ads felt wrong, and finding fitting ones is difficult. AI-generated music or advertisements were deliberately avoided, as such content noticeably lowers overall sound quality.
INSTALLATION
Extract .ba2 file into your Data folder, and edit your Fallout76Custom.ini file by adding Sin City Waves Radio_V.0.2.ba2 to sResourceIndexFileList line. For a unmodded Fallout76Custom.ini, it should be like this:
