CAMP Budget And Building Costs v1.0.1
Ever wondered exactly how much CAMP budget you’re using, or how expensive that one item really is?
CAMP Budget & Building Costs adds CAMP budget information directly into Build Mode:
– Shows CAMP budget used
– Displays the budget cost of items in their description
Required:
SFE
How It Works
Because new items are constantly added to the game, it’s not practical (or future-proof) for me to manually maintain a full list of item budget costs.
Instead, this mod:
– Learns item budget costs dynamically when items are placed
– Comes with many known item costs out of the gate
– Uses these known values to infer most remaining costs
– Continues learning as you build, improving accuracy over time
The more you build, the more item budget it knows. Note that this mod can run without SFE, but requires it to save newly learnt item costs.
Installation
Standard BA2 installation
– Download and install SFE.
– Download this mod.
– Place the CampBudgetAndBuildingCosts.ba2 file into: Fallout76/Data/
– Add the archive name to your Fallout76Custom.ini under sResourceArchive2List, for example:
[Archive]
– sResourceArchive2List=CampBudgetAndBuildingCosts.ba2
– You’re done. Launch the game and open the build menu, a message should appear indicating how many items’ building costs have been loaded.
Compatibility
This mod is NOT compatible with any other mod that also modifies interface/workshopnewlibrary.swf
Known Issues / Limitations
Captured Workshops
– Budget costs learned in workshops will be incorrect
– Workshops use a different total budget than player CAMPs
Identical Item Names
– The mod cannot currently differentiate between items that share the same display name
Localization
– All of the default item costs are for the English item names only. This means that the mod will start with no item budgets known for other languages.
– I am currently looking into ways of handling this, but if you are playing the game in a language other than English and have built up item costs, please feel free to DM me as it would be possible for me to bundle those item costs as default with the mod.
